Extreme 275 Win at KID Summer Nationals

We won Kansas International Dragway’s Extreme 275 class in Wichita, Kansas on June 17th with a clean sweep! The Nova was #1 qualifier, we broke the track 275 record, and won the event – so it was a pretty darn good day! The class had a real good turnout, we started with 13 cars but by eliminations that was down to 10. We ran Jason Flowers in the final, it was a pretty good race.
Even though we were determined not to screw up and get carried away messing with the setup and lose the race, Chris and Mike did talk me into turning it up enough to get it into the 4.70’s which reset the track record and we collected a bounty! So, that was icing on the cake!
Next race is Hot Summer Nights at MoKan Dragway on August 6th.
