Fresh Paint on the Nova – Indigo Ink Blue Pearl
We picked up the Nova from Tim’s Body & Glass Shop in Joplin Friday and it’s sporting a fresh paint job and all & brand new rear quarter panels. Robert Beezley is the guy who painted it, and he did a great job. It turned out even nicer than I expected.
We managed to get it loaded and unloaded without scratching it, and now I’m paranoid about messing with it as I know that first scratch is coming soon.. Ugh… Regardless I’m very happy to get it to this stage now where we can start putting it back together again and hopefully get her back to the track this summer and make some passes.
I’ve got some hi-res photos of the new paint job in the 2012 Nova Gallery if you want to check it out closer. Once we get the trim back on it we’ll probably push it out and grab some more as the first pic’s in the shade don’t do the new color justice. It’s very, very dark blue, but when the light hits it the color really pops out a lot. I think it’s pretty cool.
Chris & I will get busy now with putting all the trim back on, wiring, plumbing, getting the engine in – lots of work to do now. Stay Tuned…
Here’s a pic that really shows how this paint pop’s in the sunlight.

I’m from Enid Ok and would like to have the formula you used to get this color. Fixing to have a extended cab pick up painted like your car that is a beautiful ride.
